Yes. Every emoji you click gets added to the caption builder tray. When you're happy with the combo, hit Copy All to grab the whole string at once.
Do the skin tone options change every emoji?
Skin tone applies to hand gestures and person emojis that support it. Pick a tone once and it carries across the whole keyboard until you change it.
Can I switch a person emoji to a specific gender?
Yes. Use the Neutral / Male / Female selector above the grid. It swaps any emoji that has gendered variants, like person shrugging to man shrugging or woman shrugging, and stays applied as you browse.
Will emojis look the same on Instagram as they do here?
Emoji artwork depends on the device and app rendering them, so the exact style can shift slightly between iOS, Android, and Instagram's own set. The underlying emoji and its meaning stay identical everywhere.
Can I preview emoji in a different art style, like Android's?
Yes, use the style selector above the grid to preview emoji as Twemoji or OpenMoji artwork instead of your device's native style. This only changes what you see on this page though, copying still puts the plain emoji character on your clipboard, so it renders in whatever style the app you paste it into uses. There's no way to force a specific style after pasting, since that's controlled by the receiving device.

Set your preference with the Skin tone or Neutral/Male/Female selectors above the grid. It only changes emojis that actually have that variant and leaves everything else untouched, so you can just try it on whatever you click.
What are kaomoji and where do I find them?
Kaomoji are text-based emoticons like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ or (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻, built from regular characters instead of a single emoji. Open the Kaomoji tab (last one in the category row) to browse and copy them the same way as any other emoji.
What are combo packs?
Combo packs are prebuilt emoji sets for common caption moods, like Hype, Love, or Congrats. Click a pack above the caption builder and every emoji in it drops straight into your combo at once, instead of picking them one by one.
Is there a keyboard shortcut to open my device's own emoji picker?
Yes, separately from this page. On Windows, press Win + . (period) or Win + ; to open the built-in emoji panel anywhere you're typing. On Mac, press Ctrl + Cmd + Space to open the native emoji and symbols viewer. Both work system-wide, so they're handy when you just need a quick emoji without switching tabs, this page is still faster for searching, building multi-emoji combos, or copying kaomoji.
Does this page have its own keyboard shortcuts?
On desktop, yes. Press / anywhere on the page to jump into the search box, or press Space to jump straight to the first tile. Once a tile is focused, use the arrow keys to move around, across Recently used, Recently used kaomoji, the category tabs, the main grid, and the combo packs, and press Enter or Space to activate whichever one is focused.
How do I save an emoji to Favorites?
Press and hold any emoji or kaomoji tile for about 2 seconds. A soft glow fills in behind it, and once it completes the emoji is saved to a Favorites section above Recently used. Hold the same one again for 2 seconds to remove it. Favorites are stored only in your browser, the same way Recently used is, there's no account or server involved.
